Day by Day: Diurnal Seven

 January 1, 2013

An applicable song lyric:
"Five-hundred twenty-five thousand six-hundred minutes.  Five-hundred twenty-five thousand moments so dear.  Five-hundred twenty-five thousand six-hundred minutes.  How do you measure, measure a year?  In daylights, in sunsets, in midnights, in cups of coffee.  In inches, in miles of laughter and strife.  In five-hundred twenty-five thousand six-hundred minutes, how do you measure a year in the life?"

Something making me happy:
I hit over 70 mph on a snowmachine today. :D

Something I learned today:
Monopoly isn't the only board game I'm ruthless at.

Something I need to be more thankful for:
My mom's ability to make new friends by talking to them.

My 11:11 wish:
That all will go well tomorrow.

Somewhere I want to be:
Cleaning my house.  If I just weren't so darned tired...

Something I would miss if the Earth were destroyed:
Snowmachines.

Highlight of the day:
Heading out on the snowmachine trails in Willow and dominating the world.

Some thoughts:
Today was a perfect start to a new year. :)  Not only did I end up controlling the board during our Risk game, but I also got to snowmachine again, something that I can't seem to get tired of.  Also, I looked at my mom's bowl of salad during dinner and saw a cookie chilling next to the carrots.  Something about that just seemed very ironic.

 The world is mine! Muhahahahaha!
 That's right.  I'm cool.
Irony at it's finest.
